There are five times Azan daily and there is some very beneficial Dua of Azan. We should say all the prayers below to get the highest benefit from the dua of Azan.
1. Prayer during the Azan
When Muazzin starts saying the Azan, the listener’s job is to repeat the words of Azan after the Muazzin.
The messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “When you hear Azan, say what Muazzin says.” Sahih Bukhari, Hadith 611; Sahih Muslim, Hadith 384
For example:
When Muazzin says: “Allaahu Akbar Allaahu Akbar”, we should repeat after him: “Allaahu Akbar Allaahu Akbar”.
When he says: “Ash-hadu Allaa Ilaaha Illallaah”, we should repeat: “Ash-hadu Allaa Ilaaha Illallaah”.
When he says: “Ash-hadu Anna Muhammadar Rasoolullaah”, we say: “Ash-hadu Anna Muhammadar Rasoolullaah”.
When he says: “Haiya ‘Alas Salah”, we say: “Laa Hawla Walaa Quwwata Illa Billah”.
When he says: “Haiya ‘Alal Falah”, we say: “Laa Hawla Walaa Quwwata Illa Billah”.
When he says: “Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar”, we say: “Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar”.
When he says: “Laa Ilaaha Illallaah”, we say: “Laa Ilaaha Illallaah”.
The prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Anyone of you says these (words of Azan with Muazzin) from his heart and he will go to Jannah (Paradise)”. Sahih Muslim, Hadith 385
2. Durood after Azan
According to a hadith in Sahih Muslim (Hadith no. 384), we should say durood after Azan.
Durood means sending blessings and peace to the prophet Muhammad in certain words. The shortest word for durood is: “Sallallaahu ‘Alaihi WaSallam” صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ. which means, May Allah bless him and grant him peace.
3. Specific Dua after Azan
Then recite the specific dua for after Azan:
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ، وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ، آتِ مُحَمَّداً الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ، وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَاماً مَحْمُوداً الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ، إَنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ

Dua of Azan Meaning
O Allah, Lord of this complete call and established prayer, grant Muhammad the intercession and dignity, and elevate him to the honored position You have promised him.
Benefits of the Dua of Azan
Allah’s Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
“When you hear the Mu’azzin, repeat what he says, then invoke a blessing on me, for everyone who invokes a blessing on me will receive ten blessings from Allah; then beg from Allah al-Wasila (means) for me, which is a position in Jannah fitting for only one of Allah’s servants, and I hope that I may be that one. If anyone asks that I will be given the Wasila, he will be assured of my intercession.” Sahih Muslim, Hadith 384
